With the rise of new engineering education,how to skillfully integrate"ideological and political"elements into applied courses of computer majors so as to cultivate compound talents with noble morality and professional skills has become an important issue in the current education field.This paper deeply analyzes the new characteristics and requirements of computer major education under the background of new engineering,emphasizes the necessity of combining applied courses with"ideological and political"education,and proposes specifie integration strategies and implementation suggestions,including optimizing the curriculum system structure and innovating teaching content and methods and so on,which aims to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for formulating more scientific and reasonable composite talent training programs for engineering students.
