Generative artificial intelligence is the forefront of the development of artificial intelligence.Its powerful data-driven,end-to-end learning,multi-modal integration,transfer learning and other capabilities provide new ideas and new momentum for the digital transformation of archives in the new era.By analyzing the application needs of generative artificial intelligence in archive digital transformation,the application scenarios and implementation paths of generative artificial intelligence in archive digitization,intelligent management,knowledge mining,digital service are discussed,the advantages and limitations of generative artificial intelligence applied to archive digital transformation are summarized,and the future research direction is prospected.
