再论环渤海地区对外直接投资对制造业出口技术复杂度的影响

The Impact of Outward direct Investment in the Bohai Rim Region on the Complexity of Manufacturing Export Technology

基于2009-2021年中国环渤海地区五省市面板数据,构建双向固定效应模型,实证探讨OFDI对环渤海地区制造业出口技术复杂度有何影响。实证结果表明:对外直接投资对环渤海地区制造业产品出口技术复杂度具有显著的提升作用,其中,对资本密集型制造业影响最大,其次是技术密集型制造业,而对劳动密集型制造业并未呈现统计意义上的影响。提升对外直接投资规模,加快环渤海地区制造业结构升级,增加科研投入,增强研发创新能力,有益于推动环渤海地区制造业出口技术复杂度提升。

Based on the panel data of five provinces and cities in China's Bohai Rim region in 2009-2021,a twoway fixed-effects model is constructed to empirically investigate the impact of OFDI on the technological complexity of manufacturing exports in the Bohai Rim region.The empirical results indicate that outward direct investment has a significant enhancing effect on the technological complexity of manufacturing product exports in the Bohai Rim region,with the largest impact on capital intensive manufacturing,followed by technology intensive manufacturing,and no statistically significant impact on labor-intensive manufacturing.Enhancing the scale of foreign direct investment,accelerating the upgrading of manufacturing structure in the Bohai Rim region,increasing scientific research investment,and enhancing R&D innovation capabilities are beneficial for promoting the technological complexity of manufacturing exports in the Bohai Rim region.
