A Multi-dimensional Analysis of Xi Jinping's Important Expositions on Youth Labor Education

党的十八大以来,以习近平同志为核心的党中央高度重视劳动教育,将劳动教育纳入人才培养的总体要求中。习近平针对人才培养新要求、劳动形态新变化、劳动教育新挑战,发展了马克思主义经典作家及其继承者有关劳动教育的思想,汲取中国共产党在革命、建设和改革中关于劳动教育的实践经验,提出一系列关于青少年劳动教育的新观点、新论断、新举措。习近平关于青少年劳动教育重要论述的主要内容包括劳动观念论、劳动习惯论、劳动能力论、劳动精神论、劳动品质论,彰显了继承性与现实性相统一、个人发展与社会发展相统一、教育性与实践性相统一的理论品格,确立了劳动教育在我国教育体系中的战略地位、明确了青少年劳动教育的总体目标、阐明了青少年劳动教育的内容体系,为培育时代新人和促进人的全面发展指明方向。

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Central Committee of the Party with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has attached great importance to labor education and included labor education into the overall requirements for talent cultivation.In response to the new requirements for talent cultivation,new changes in labor patterns,and new challenges in labor education,Xi Jinping developed the thoughts of Marxist classical writers and their successors on labor education,drew on the practical experience of the CPC in the revolution,construction,and reform of labor education,and put forward a series of new ideas,new judgments,and new measures on youth labor education.The main content of Xi Jinping's important expositions on youth labor education includes theories about labor concept,labor habit,labor ability,labor spirit,and labor quality.They highlight the theoretical character of unity between inheritance and reality,personal development and social development,and education and practice,establish the strategic position of labor education in China's education system,clarify the overall goal of youth labor education,and elaborate the content system of youth labor education,pointing out the direction for cultivating new generations and promoting comprehensive human development.
