Building information modeling based on BIM technology was gradually being widely used in the operation and management of water treatment industry.The introduction of BIM technology into the whole life cycle management of water plants could improve production efficiency and management quality,as well as optimize the design scheme and construction process and guarantee the quality of the project.The application of BIM technology in the operation and maintenance management stage of water plants,and reviews its related project management and construction stages were mainly introduced.In the future,with the comprehensive application of BIM technology,the development prospect of water treatment industry would be more broad.
