数字经济时代会激发人口生育潜力吗?——基于陕西省面板数据的实证检验

Will the digital economy era stimulate the fertility potential of the population?——Empirical test based on panel data in Shaanxi Province

文章选取2012—2021年陕西省下辖十个地级市的面板数据并建立固定效应模型,利用Stata软件进行实证检验,分析数字经济发展对人口出生率的影响。研究表明数字经济的发展对陕西省人口出生率具有显著的正向影响,中介效应结果显示数字经济通过影响城镇化率提升人口出生率。

This article selects panel data from ten prefecture level cities in Shaanxi Province from 2012 to 2021 and establishes a fixed effects model.Stata software is used for empirical testing to analyze the impact of digital economy development on the birth rate of the population.Research has shown that the development of the digital economy has a significant positive impact on the birth rate of the population in Shaanxi Province,the results of intermediary effect show that the digital economy increases the birth rate by influencing the urbanization rate.
