This paper describes reliability analysis methods and compares them,including fault tree,event tree,reliability block diagram analysis,and reliability index estimation methods.It analyzes the functions and types of primary equipment in substations,as well as the trade-offs between reliability and performance indicators.It verifies the effectiveness of the optimization strategy through examples.
