4月23日是中国人民解放军海军成立74周年纪念日。自从成立之日起,中国海军始终向世界传递着善意与和平的信号。1997年2月20日至5月28日,中国海军舰艇编队成功对美国夏威夷、圣迭戈,墨西哥阿卡普尔科,秘鲁卡亚俄,智利瓦尔帕莱索等四国五港进行友好访问,实现了中国海军舰艇编队横跨太平洋抵达美国本土和南美大陆的历史性突破。图片为中国海军舰艇编队官兵和夏威夷艺术家同台联欢。
April 23 marked the 74th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army(PLA)Navy.Since its founding,the PLA Navy has promoted goodwill and peace.From Feb.20 to May 28,1997,Chinese navy vessels paid friendly visits to Hawaii and San Diego in the United States,Acapulco in Mexico,Callao in Peru and Valparaiso in Chile.These visits were a historic first crossing of the Pacific ocean for the Chinese navy.Here Chinese navy personnel hold a gala with Hawaian artists.
