the Boao near-zero carbon demonstration zone launched in Hainan博鳌近零碳示范区运行启动A demonstration zone focusing on almost zero emissions began operations on March 18,2024,in Boao,south China’s Hainan Province.A launching ceremony was held in Boao’s Dongyu Island for the Boao near-zero carbon demonstration zone,a project jointly built by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the H ainan provincial government.The demonstration zone has completed a total of 18 projects in eight categories.By incorporating emission reduction technologies and taking various innovative practices and measures,it is able to achieve balance between new energy power generation and consumption.
