环衬是封面后、封底前的空白页,容易被读者忽略,但其阅读价值不容小觑。色彩型环衬无图案,仅有颜色,它贴近故事主题,旨在为后续故事营造氛围、奠定情感基调、提供心理暗示;图案型环衬暗藏故事脉络,加入花纹、条纹、图案、文字等要素,与读本中的故事有某种联系,暗藏故事的开头、线索、真相等。教师引领幼儿恰当解读藏在环衬的“秘密”,可以让幼儿更深入全面地了解绘本内容、理解读本内涵、提升阅读成效。

The endpapers are the blank page behind the cover and before the back cover,which are easy to be ignored by readers,but its reading value cannot be underestimated.Color based endpapers have no pattern,only colors which are close to the theme of the story,aiming to create an atmosphere,establish an emotional tone,and provide psychological suggestions for subsequent stories;The patterned ring endpapers hide the story context,adding patterns,stripes,patterns,words and other elements,and have some connection with the story in the book,hiding the beginning of the story,clues,truth and so on.Teachers guide children to properly interpret the“secrets”hidden in the background,so that children can have a deeper and comprehensive understanding of the picture book content,understand its connotations and improve their reading effectiveness.
