Analysis of the Chinese Volunteer Medical Team to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea

抗美援朝战争爆发后,党和政府根据朝鲜前线实际需要及时做出部署,号召广大医务人员组建志愿医疗队支援前线。经过各级党组织和政府较为扎实的组织与动员,志愿医疗队顺利组建,其相关医疗服务工作也渐次展开。各志愿医疗队不仅协助救治了大量伤病员,为抗美援朝战争的最终胜利提供了有力保障,而且广大志愿医疗队成员的政治思想和医疗技术水平大为提升,为新中国的医疗卫生事业大发展奠定了人才、技术和制度等基础,为新中国的国家建设积蓄了重要力量。

After the outbreak of the Korean War,the Party and government made timely deployments based on the actual needs of the Korean front line,calling on medical personnel to form volunteer medical teams to support the front line.After solid organization and mobilization by Party committees and governments at all levels,the volunteer medical team was successfully established,and its related medical service work gradually began.Each volunteer medical team not only assisted in treating a large number of injured and sick people,providing strong support for the ultimate victory of the Korean War,but also greatly improved the political ideology and medical technology level of the members of the volunteer medical team,laying a talent,technology,and institutional foundation for the great development of the medical and health industry in new China,and accumulating important strength for the construction of new China.
