This paper discusses the renewal strategy of commercial streets in order to create pedestrian-friendly street space under the background of urban stock renewal.Taking the reconstruction practice of Wangjing Walk in Chaoyang District of Beijing as an example,it discusses the reconstruction and renewal of commercial street space,hoping to provide reference for the humanized design and renovation of urban commercial street pedestrian space in the future.
