摘要 Dear Editor,The pathogenesis of COVID-19 in the gastrointestinal(GI)tract is well-documented[1].However,due to a lack of simple animal models, the pathogenic mechanisms of SARS-CoV-2 in the GI tract is not well established.Currently, common animal models for COVID-19 include mice, rats, hamsters, ferrets and non-human primates.
