A Case of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy Treated with Modified Shentong Zhuyu Decoction Combined with Acupuncture

糖尿病周围神经病变是糖尿病最为常见的一种微血管慢性并发症。糖尿病周围神经病变早期发病隐匿,因此患者常错过最佳治疗时期。临床上应用中药内服联合针刺疗法治疗本病效果显著,内外合治,标本兼治,用药安全性高,能明显改善患者临床症状。而痰瘀互结是本病的关键病因病机,在这一证候阶段,化痰散结、活血祛瘀、通络止痛,可恢复一身络脉运行气血之功能。本文通过介绍身痛逐瘀汤加减联合针刺治疗糖尿病周围神经病变验案1则,旨在探讨糖尿病周围神经病变病因病机及其治疗方法。

Diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)is the most common chronic microvascular complication of diabetes.Early onset of DPN is often insidious,leading patients to miss the optimal treatment window.In clinical practice,the combination of oral administration of Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture therapy has shown significant efficacy in treating this condition.By treating both the root cause and the symptoms simultaneously,this approach is safe and can markedly improve patients'clinical symptoms.The key pathogenesis of DPN lies in the combined phlegm and stasis.In this stage of syndrome differentiation,resolving phlegm,dissipating mass,activating blood,dispersing stasis,dredging collaterals,and relieving pain can restore the function of the body's meridians,collaterals,qi,and blood.This article introduced a case study of treating DPN with modified Shentong Zhuyu Decoction combined with acupuncture therapy,aiming to explore the etiology,pathogenesis,and treatment methods of DPN.
