在19世纪英国学院绘画的发展中,拉斐尔前派具有转折性意义。本文从特定历史时期下英国贵族与资产阶级的关系出发,探索拉斐尔前派代表人物米莱斯作品风格的转变,重点分析骑士题材作品的风格与内容选择,揭示其背后的资产阶级审美趣味。
The Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood can be considered a turning point in the development of British academic painting in the 19th Century. This article explores changes in the painting style of John Everett Millais, a representative of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, from the perspective of the relationship between the aristocracy and the bourgeoisie in Britain in a certain historical period, analyzes knight-themed artworks, and discusses reasons behind the choice of style and theme, so as to reveal changes in the aesthetic taste of the bourgeoisie.
