Highway engineeringis a type of systematic and complex project that faces many difficulties,including investment losses from design changes and claims due to insufficient preparation and low management level during the construction phase.By exploring and analyzing the problems and difficulties faced during the investment control of highway engineering,specific solutions and recommendations were proposed,and investment control practices were implemented on the main line of the new construction project of S7 highway(Yueluo Highway to Baoqian Highway)in Shanghai,resulting in savings more than 200 million yuan.
