Conversations with Oneself:The Subculture of Divination and the Spiritual World of Contemporary Youths

占卜亚文化在当代青年中形成了一定的影响力,文章是基于占卜亚文化与当代青年精神世界长时段跟踪调查整理形成的田野笔记。在“过程—情境”的历时观察方法指导下,通过四个较为完整的个案记述,呈现出人对占卜亚文化理解与应对的四种态度。文章的主旨集中在以下三点:第一,人在占卜亚文化中寻求的并非一个确定的结果,而是一种理解自身处境、自身与外界关系的尝试;第二,人对命运的理解不是单向度的进程,它会随着人自身状况的变化,以及人与外界关系的变化而不断调整;第三,占卜及其后果均是社会事实,都会对人思考和应对自身与命运的关系产生影响。

The article is a field note based on a long-term tracking investigation of the divination subculture and the spiritual world of contemporary youths.Guided by the"process-context"method,there are four relatively complete cases used to present four attitudes towards understanding and responding to divination subculture.The main idea of this article is focused on the following three points.First,what people seek in divination subcultures is not a definite result,but an attempt to understand their own situations and their relationships with the outside world.Second,people's understanding of fate will constantly adjust with changes in their own conditions and changes in their relationships with the outside world.Third,both divination and its consequences are social facts,which have an impact on people's thinking and coping with their own relationships with fate.
