This article explains the importance of grounding technology in broadcast and television engineering from the role and system composition of grounding technology,then discusses common grounding technologies in broadcast and television engineering,such as lightning grounding technology,equipment grounding technology,and ground grid grounding technology,and finally analyzes the applications of grounding technology in broadcast and television engineering,including the grounding of broadcast and television transmission stations,the grounding of transmitter stations and modulation rooms,the grounding of non-critical areas,etc.For different scenarios and requirements,proper grounding design and implementation can ensure the safety,reliability and quality of broadcast and television engineering.
