数千年来,伴随着潮汐涨落,众多远道而来的贝壳在滨州无棣县的海边不断聚集,逐渐形成了一条长达76千米的古贝壳堤。时光流转,这些贝壳默默坚守于此,它们有的完整无缺,有的则残破不堪,风雨的侵蚀和海水的冲刷在它们身上留下了斑驳的岁月痕迹。直到上世纪90年代,它们在山东海瓷集团工匠们的巧手之下,完成了“化贝为瓷”的华丽蜕变。
Shandong Sea Porcelain Group has used shells from the coastal area of Wudi County,Binzhou as a raw material to fire shell porcelain by innovatively combining shells and porcelain.In the R&D process of shell porcelain,the expert team found that the enamel texture of shell porcelain is highly similarto that of rice paper.Writing and painting on it seem as if on rice paper,and can form smooth lines,with the unique effect of ink spreading on porcelain.Thus,Shandong Sea Porcelain Group invented the new craft of“sea porcelain art”on this basis.With its unique artistic charm,shell porcelain hasgoneglobal,and become a significantnationalgift.
