为应对新时期全球化挑战,英国及时调整高等教育国际化战略,从内外两侧共同发力,通过颁布留学生教育新政策、出台科创新战略、吸纳世界一流科研人才、启动图灵计划、任命国际教育大使和开展国际合格教师培训项目等一系列战略行动,促进了英国高等教育国际化在新起点的复苏与发展。英国高等教育国际化新战略呈现出多元联动、偏重中国、经济驱动和人文关怀的特征。新战略在现阶段已取得诸多成效,特别在留学生招收方面已经恢复甚至超越疫情前水平。

In order to address the challenges of globalization in the new era,British has timely adjusted its strategy for higher education internationalizing,mobilizing efforts from both internal and external sides.It has been achieved through the implementation of a series of specific strategic actions,including the introduction of new policies for international students,the establishment of a science and innovation strategy,the attraction of world-class research talent,the launch of the Turing Scheme,the appointment of international education champion,and the initiation of IQTS project.These measures have promoted the recovery and development of British higher education internationalization.In the new era,the internationalization strategy of British higher education shows the characteristics of multiple linkages,emphasis on China,economic drive and humanistic care.The new strategy has achieved many achievements now,especially in the recruitment of international students,which has recovered or even surpassed the level before the epidemic.
