综合创新实验:AEM膜制备及其在AEMWE中的应用

Comprehensive Innovative Experiment:Preparation of Anion Exchange Membrane and Its Application in Water Electrolysis for Hydrogen Production

摘要 综合创新实验首先通过超强酸(三氟甲烷磺酸)催化的缩聚反应,以N-甲基-4-哌啶酮、对三联苯/联苯为单体合成了聚三联苯/联苯哌啶聚合物(PTP/PBP)。再将其与碘甲烷发生Menshutkin反应得到季铵化聚三联苯/联苯哌啶聚合物(QPTP/QPBP)。之后将得到的聚合物溶解到DMSO中并浇铸得到阴离子交换膜(AEM)。然后,通过核磁共振氢谱、SEM、TEM和AFM对膜的结构和形貌进行表征。通过测试吸水率、溶胀率、离子电导率、机械性能、热稳定性及其在电解水制氢中的应用对膜的性能进行评价。通过开设该实验,不仅可以让学生了解阴离子交换膜的合成方法、数据分析及其在电解槽中的工作原理,还可以培养学生综合实验的操作能力和团队合作能力、激发学生的实验兴趣和创新思维。 Firstly,poly(p-terphenyl/biphenyl piperidine)(PTP/PBP)polymer was synthesized with N-methyl-4-piperidone and p-terphenyl/biphenyl as monomers through the polycondensation reaction catalyzed by superacid(trifluoromethanesulfonic acid).Then Menshutkin reaction with iodomethane was performed to obtain quaternized poly(p-terphenyl/biphenyl piperidine)(QPTP/QPBP).QPTP polymer was then dissolved in DMSO and cast to obtain an anion exchange membrane(AEM).Then,the structure and morphology of AEM was characterized by NMR,SEM,TEM and AFM.The properties of AEM were evaluated by testing water uptake,swelling ratio,ionic conductivity,mechanical properties,thermal stability and its application in hydrogen production by water electrolysis.By setting up this experiment,students can not only understand the synthesis method of anion exchange membrane,data analysis and its working principle in electrolytic cell,but also cultivate students operation ability of comprehensive experiment and teamwork ability,stimulate students experimental interest and innovative thinking.
