“穿行”于算法之中:一项关于货运网约车司机的平台劳动控制研究

Walking Through Algorithms: A Study on Platform Labor Control of Cargo Drivers

平台经济的发展对平台组织的影响贯穿全程,算法日渐成为平台控制的参与主体。本文通过对X市网约车平台司机的访谈研究发现,平台劳动控制的权威涵盖了成本控制、技术控制和意识形态控制的各个方面,而司机则在得失的权衡中艰难前行。事实上,拉货司机和平台的关系并不局限于“赶工游戏”,而是在各种控制与反抗的博弈中,甚至在司机“自由”心态的支撑下,逐渐形成了“各取所需”的关系。但整体来说,原子化的劳动状态使司机陷入了对平台存在的问题无能为力的境地,这些发现也不免显露出平台算法控制对于平台劳动者的“权威”。

Through interviews with van drivers of online ride hailing platform in City X,this paper finds that the authority of platform labor control covers every aspect of cost control,technological control and ideological control,while drivers struggle to move forward in the balance of gains and losses.This study finds that the relationship between cargo drivers and platforms in reality is not limited to a"push game",but gradually forms a"take what you need"relationship,even with the support of driver's"free"mentality.However,the atomized labor state leaves drivers powerless against platform"authority".
