When LI Zhi served as the prefect of Yao’an Prefecture,he successfully tackled the difficulties of governing the border minority areas,always keeping the people’s welfare and livelihood into consideration.Through various administrative measures,he promoted political integrity and public safety in Yao’an Prefecture.LI Zhi left behind governance achievements in Yao’an Prefecture,and also left behind his national view as a cultural heritage in history.“The governance of the supreme man”is the main connotation of LI Zhi’s national view,and“no gap between the Han nationality and other nationalities”is the important logic in the formation of his national view.LI Zhi’s national view embodies“harmony and coexistence”,which is an important gene of China’s fine traditional culture and has rich contemporary value.At present,it is necessary to grasp LI Zhi’s national view from four dimensions:the background of its formation,the main connotation,the logical implications,and the contemporary value,so as to draw on the past for the present,to uphold fundamental principles and break new ground,and to promote the construction of the Chinese national community.
