5月4日,整个烟台都在为“最美日出”雀跃不已。如果将时光的指针拨回到40年前,这座城市有更深沉壮阔的理由热切欢呼:党的十一届三中全会如春雷乍响,中华大地涌动改革春潮。1984年5月4日,中共中央、国务院批转《沿海部分城市座谈会纪要》,正式确定烟台等14市为国家首批沿海开放城市。自此,烟台站上了中国对外开放的最前沿。在东部沿海地区活力四射的开放链上,烟台用敢为人先、拔节生长的创新实践,书写了“一路生花”的开放发展历程。40年,抢抓机遇,乘势而上,烟台辉映中国改革开放的伟大跨越。

When the singing of Hua Chenyu and the cheers of his Martian fans resounded through the sky along with the magnificent sunrise,the city revealed its open,energetic,inclusive,and youthful face,which is so touching.This group expectation for the most beautiful sunrise is not so much a blessing to the Martian fans as a heartfelt concern and responsive development of Yantai people for the city they are living in.
