胶东地区的剪纸历史悠久,是中国民间艺术百花园中一朵奇葩。胶东地区的剪纸以蓬莱、黄县、掖县等地的民间剪纸最有代表性,而黄县的剪纸又最具独特的风格,人们称之为“黄县窗染花”。黄县窗染花始于清末,是民间剪纸形式的一种,有数百年的历史。早在清朝末期,黄县人就以剪贴“灯花”“以彩纸挂门楣”等形式剪贴单色“窗花”,用于美化环境,期望吉庆。

Papercutting,with a long history in Jiaodong area,is a unique flower in the garden of Chinese folk art.The most representative Jiaodong papercutting is the folk papercutting in places like Penglai,Huangxian County,and Yexian County.Among them,the papercutting in Huangxian County has the most distinctive style and is known as"Huangxian dyed window decorations".
