The exhaustion of distribution rights principle,which originated in the traditional printing era,is used to solve the contradiction between copyright and property rights,and tangible carriers have always been considered a key constituent element.With the development of Internet technology,NFT digital works based on blockchain technology have brought challenges to the traditional principle of exhaustion of distribution rights.NFT digital works can achieve“quasi tangibility”of the carrier and produce the legal effect of ownership change.To provide technical support for the application of the principle of exhaustion of distribution rights in cyberspace and to safeguard the rights and interests of copyright holders.We should downplay the traditional“tangible carrier theory”of distribution rights,clarify the relationship between distribution rights and information network dissemination rights,and extend the principle of exhaustion of distribution rights to NFT digital works,which has legitimacy and feasibility.
