Currently,the United States is eager to reshape the clean energy supply chain at the global level and become the hegemony of clean energy.The key motivation of this strategic move includes the key mineral resources and technology that become the new focus of energy geopolitics,the acceleration of global energy transformation,the limit of the U.S.domestic supply chains in size and its habitual pursuit of world hegemony.The core goal of U.S.strategy is to build a geo-energy space centered on serving its energy transformation.The three main actions encompass winning over the critical minerals countries represented by Australia and Canada,relying on allies to set up cooperation mechanisms and excluding Chinese industries.The U.S.strategy takes suppressing China as the core demand,regards ally politics as the main means and focuses on various non-material factors.The above characteristics are quite different from those of the U.S.in shaping its oil hegemony.The U.S.strategy will seriously impact Chinese supply chain enterprises,break away from America's own energy transformation and disrupt the global green development trend.For China's energy diplomacy and foreign cooperation,we need to pay attention to and respond to this strategy in a timely manner.
