校与刊:《北京大学日刊》初创时期的办刊实践

Collation and Publication:The Publication Practice of Peking University Daily in Its Early Stage

《北京大学日刊》创办于1917年11月,是蔡元培校长推动北大教育改革的成果,也是校园空间中师生沟通交流的工具。《北京大学日刊》在“通上下”理念下创刊,1918年2月8日,《北京大学日刊》进行改组与调适,完成了从纪事公报向现代大学校报的转变。《北京大学日刊》不仅关注与呈现着北京大学校园文化的发展与变迁,还作为物质实体嵌入其中,参与着校园文化的建构与传播。

Founded in November 1917,Peking University Daily is the result of President Cai Yuanpei′s promotion of education reform in Peking University as well as a tool for teachers and students to communicate on campus.Peking University Daily was founded under the principle of"communication between superiors and subordinates"and underwent restructuring and adjustment two months later,completing the transformation from a chronicle gazette to a modern university newspaper.Not only does Peking University Daily focus on and present the development and changes of campus culture at Peking University,but it also serves as a physical entity embedded within it,participating in the construction and dissemination of campus culture.
