This paper delineates the evolution process of the translator’s image from being“invisible”to“visible”,and subsequently proposes the concept of the translator’s“visibility”,explicating its connotation, and distinguishing it from Venuti’s concept on“visibility”.It further expounds the view of translator’s“visibility”,asserting that translation is inherently an active and creative endeavor by the translator.Translations reflect the translator’s knowledge and abilities, inevitably serving as a visible projection of the translator to a certain extent.
