The“English Curriculum Standards for Higher Vocational Education”issued in April 2021 is essential for English teaching reform in higher vocational colleges.To interpret the significance of the“Curriculum Standards”for the teaching reform of public English courses in higher vocational colleges from the perspective of education ecology and explore the specific path for an organic integration of the“Curriculum Standards”and the ecology of public English teaching in higher vocational colleges,and thus figure out the ecological optimization and reconstruction plan for public English teaching in higher vocational colleges is contributive to solving the problem of ecological imbalance of public English teaching in higher vocational colleges and promoting both teaching quality and talent training quality.
