This paper discusses the important role of ecological corridor in biodiversity protection,ecosystem service function and ecosystem connectivity,then,expounds the planning principle and methodology,analyzes the coordination relationship between ecological corridor and urban development and the relationship with other land use types,discusses the comprehensive measurement of ecological corridor and environmental conditions and the construction of ecological network,explores the influence of current urbanization process of ecological corridor on ecological corridor construction,and expounds how technological innovation promotes the development of ecological corridor planning.
