论《荡寇志》的水路书写及其意义

Yu Wanchun's Dangkou Zhi contains many descriptions of Shandong's waterways,such as the Grand Canal,Daqing River,Xiaoqing River,Wen River,and Dengzhou Sea border in Dangkou Zhi.Most of these waterways are written by the author based on his objective knowledge of Shandong's waterways,and moderately imagined and fictionalized.Therefore,the waterway writing in this work reflects certain historical reality as well as the author's strategic understanding of Shandong waterways from a military perspective,which is closely related to his unique life experience and academic style.More importantly,when realistic waterway writing is integrated into the novel's narrative,not only does it not stagnate the novel's narrative rhythm or destroy its artistic achievement,but also promotes the novel's characterization and plot advancement,and implies the author's ideological inclination.These precise descriptions of geography in Dangkou Zhi are not only the inheritance of the writing art of Water Margin,but also an important means of reflecting on and breaking through the patterned writing predicament of the heroic novels of the Qing Dynasty.
