目标导向视角下英语翻译专业学生绩效差异研究

A study on performance differences among English Translation Major students from the perspective of goal orientation

摘要 基于绩效目标导向理论,探究翻译专业学生情绪掌控力与耐受力对专业绩效的影响。研究发现,精通、熟悉和了解三种目标导向的学生在绩效上表现迥异,精通者表现最佳,了解者表现最差。在应对翻译任务时,精通者几乎不受压力影响,熟悉者面临主客观双重压力,而了解者则主观压力显著。此外,熟悉和了解目标学生的专业绩效易受压力影响,而精通者则能在任何压力下保持卓越绩效。本研究为翻译专业人才培养提供了借鉴,有助于优化培养策略,提升人才培养质量。 Based on the theory of performance goal orientation,this study explores the impact of emotional control and endurance of students majored in Translation on their professional performance.The study finds that students with three different goal orientations,namely mastery,familiarity,and understanding,exhibit distinct performances in terms of performance.Those who strive for mastery perform best,while those who aim for mere understanding perform the worst.When dealing with translation tasks,those striving for mastery are almost unaffected by pressure,those aiming for familiarity face both subjective and objective pressures,while those aiming for understanding experience significant subjective pressure.Additionally,the professional performance of students aiming for familiarity and understanding is easily affected by pressure,while those striving for mastery can maintain excellent performance under any pressure.This study provides valuable insights for the cultivation of translation professionals,helping to optimize training strategies and improve the quality of talent cultivation.
