The balise transmission module(BTM)is an important component of onboard equipment.Any fault of the BTM will cause the midway stop or failure of on-schedule departure of trains. The corresponding countermeasures are proposed by analyzing 3 typical fault cases that occurred during applications based on the autonomous BTM’s feature of complete data recording:Optimizing the balise telegram receiving logic, for the telegram that can be correctly resolved but fails to be resolved later,it is to be filtered by the autonomous BTM as a side lobe, for the telegram that cannot be resolved into 830 bit,the decoding board is used for multiple shift resolutions to improve the telegram resolution success rate of the autonomous BTM,and the all-zero balise telegram can be sent to the onboard host only when the telegram cannot be resolved within the prescribed time, improving autonomous BTM’s adaptability to the field application environment;Considering that the autonomous BTM restart only takes a very short time,an autonomous BTM restart mechanism is added to solve the problem of train stop caused by 3 types of faults,i.e.,temporary BSA failure, permanent BSA failure and invalid BTM ports.Currently, the optimization measures of balise telegram receiving logic have been implemented in the autonomous BTM of CTCS3-300T onboard equipment. The restart mechanism has been studied by the source design manufacturer, and can be applied to onboard hosts based on operation scenes appropriately.
