Prescription Mechanism of Qidi Gushen Formula in Treatment of Idiopathic Membranous Nephropathy

芪地固肾方是陕西省名中医雷根平教授针对特发性膜性肾病虚、湿、热、瘀的关键病因及脾肾亏虚、湿热瘀阻的根本病机而研制的自拟方。该方由黄芪、生地黄、芡实、白花蛇舌草、荆芥、丹参组成。六药共起培、补、固、清、宣、通之效,功以补益脾肾为主,以清利湿热、活血化瘀为辅。

Qidi Gushen Formula is a self-made prescription developed by Professor Lei Genping,a famous traditional Chinese medicine doctor in Shaanxi Province,aiming at the key causes of deficiency,Damp,Heat and blood stasis of idiopathic membranous nephropathy,and the fundamental pathogenesis of Spleen and Kidney deficiency,as well as Damp-Heat congestion with blood stasis obstruction.This prescription is composed of Huangqi(Astragali Radix),Dihuang(Rehmanniae Radix),Qianshi(Euryales Semen),Baihuasheshecao(Oldenlandia Polysaccharid),Jingjie(Schizonepetae Herba)and Danshen(Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma),which play the role of invigorating,supplementing,securing or astringing,clearing,dispersing and dredging together.In general,their functions are mainly to tonify Spleen and Kidney,supplemented by clearing damp-heat,promoting blood circulation,and removing blood stasis.
