Statistical measurement of the impact of the digital economy on high-quality agricultural development

收集我国31个省份2011—2020年数字经济和农业高质量发展的面板数据,运用空间计量模型和面板门槛模型探讨数字经济对农业高质量发展的影响,得到如下结论:数字经济成为农业高质量发展的重要驱动力,且存在显著正向空间溢出效应,各省及其邻近省份数字经济发展能显著促进其农业高质量发展;以数字经济自身作门槛变量时,随着其发展水平的上升,对农业高质量发展的促进作用呈现由强到弱的变化趋势;以年份作为门槛变量时,数字经济对农业高质量发展的影响呈正V型;以交通网络密度作为门槛变量时,随着网络密度的提高,数字经济对农业高质量发展的促进作用也会不断增强.

Panel data on the digital economy and high-quality agricultural development across 31 provinces in China from 2011 to 2020 were collected.Spatial econometric models and panel threshold models were utilized to explore the impact of the digital economy on high-quality agricultural development.The following conclusions were reached:the digital economy has become an important driving force for high-quality agricultural development,with a significant positive spatial spillover effect.The development of the digital economy in each province and its neighboring provinces can significantly promote high-quality agricultural development in that province.When digital economic development itself is used as a threshold variable,as its development level rises,the promoting effect on high-quality agricultural development shows a trend from strong to weak.When the year is taken as the threshold variable,the digital economy demonstrates a positive V-shaped impact on the high-quality development of agriculture.When transportation network density is taken as the threshold variable,as the network density increases,the promoting effect of the digital economy on the high-quality development of agriculture will also continue to strengthen.
