晚期糖基化终末产物在衰老相关疾病中的研究进展

摘要 衰老是人类生命体无法避免的自发的生理过程,目前有多种学说阐释衰老的特征,包括氧化应激、蛋白质内稳态失衡、基因稳定性降低、线粒体功能障碍、营养代谢失调等,晚期糖基化终末产物(AGEs)在衰老进程中起关键作用。本文对AGEs导致衰老的可能机制,AGEs与衰老相关疾病如心血管疾病、糖尿病慢性并发症、白内障、阿尔茨海默病、骨质疏松症、肌少症的关系作一综述,为抗衰老研究、药物干预衰老相关疾病和促进老年人健康生活提供新思路。 Aging is an inherent physiological phenomenon that occurs throughout human life.Numerous theories have been proposed to elucidate the distinctive features of aging,encompassing oxidative stress,imbalances in protein homeostasis,deterioration of gene stability,mitochondrial dysfunction,and disorders in nutritional metabolism.The role of advanced glycation end products(AGEs)in the aging process is widely acknowledged.This paper aims to examine the potential mechanisms through which AGEs contribute to aging,and elucidate the association between AGEs and age-related ailments including cardiovascular diseases,chronic complications of diabetes,cataracts,Alzheimer's disease,osteoporosis,and sarcopenia.The objective is to present novel perspectives for anti-aging research,pharmaceutical interventions in age-related diseases,and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle among the elderly.
