摘要
文章基于信号传递理论和合法性理论,利用2013—2022年A股制造业上市公司的相关数据,实证检验碳信息披露的绿色创新效应。研究发现:碳信息披露具有显著的绿色创新效应,主要表现为绿色专利数量和质量同步显著提升,且专利结构实现了优化;缓解融资约束和资本更新是碳信息披露绿色创新效应的传导机制;碳信息披露的绿色创新效应在民营企业、重污染企业、低碳排放地区和低环境规制强度地区更显著;唯有实质性绿色创新才能提升制造业企业经济绩效和环境绩效,且碳信息披露可以强化这一激励效应。研究结论为评估碳信息披露制度的运行效果提供了新视角,也为驱动制造业企业绿色发展提供了新思路。
Based on signaling theory and legitimacy theory,this paper empirically examines the green innovation effect of carbon information disclosure using data from A-share-listed manufacturing companies between 2013 and 2022.Research findings:Carbon information disclosure has a significant green innovation effect,mainly manifested in the substantial improvement in both the quantity and quality of green patents,as well as the optimization of the patent structure.Alleviating financing constraints and capital renewal are the transmission mechanisms of green innovation effects in carbon information disclosure.The green innovation effect of carbon information disclosure is more pronounced in private enterprises,heavily polluting enterprises,low-carbon emission regions,and areas with low environmental regulation intensity.Only substantive green innovation can improve economic performance and environmental performance of manufacturing enterprises,and carbon information disclosure can reinforce this incentive effect.The research conclusions provide a new perspective for evaluating the effectiveness of carbon information disclosure policies and offer new insights for driving the green development of manufacturing enterprises.
