Research Progress on Biological Activity of Ferulic Acid

阿魏酸(Ferulic acid,FA)广泛存在于植物中,又称3-甲氧基-4-羟基肉桂酸,是一种酚酸类化合物。FA具有多种功能的生物活性物质,不仅是抗氧化剂,也是抗炎因子;对肾脏有一定保护作用,可用于预防冠心病等,也可以抑制血小板聚集和释放血栓素类物质来抵抗血栓形成。本文就其在氧化应激、炎症、血管内皮损伤、纤维化、细胞凋亡和血小板聚集等方面的生物活性进行综述,并探讨了其对细胞毒性的影响。以期为该类化合物在药物方面的研究提供参考价值。

Ferulic acid(FA)was a phenolic substance widely found in plants,also known as 3-methoxy-4-hydroxycinnamic acid.FA was a bioactive substance with many functions,not only an antioxidant but also an anti-inflammatory activity.FA had a certain role in renal protection and cardiovascular disease prevention.It could be used to prevent coronary heart disease,and can also inhibit platelet aggregation and release thromboxane to resist thrombosis.This paper reviewed its biological activities in oxidative stress,inflammation,vascular endothelial injury,fibrosis,apoptosis,and platelet aggregation,and explored its effects on cytotoxicity.In order to provide reference value for the study of such compounds in drugs.
