民国学人关于中小学图书馆的论述及其当代启示

摘要 民国时期(1912—1949),中小学图书馆伴随教育的现代化和图书馆事业的兴盛而产生、发展。许多民国学人注意到了中小学图书馆的重要性及中小学图书馆实践过程中暴露的问题,并对其展开了论述。民国时期多有质疑中小学是否需要图书馆的声音,对此,民国学人从教育与图书馆、中小学校与图书馆、学校师生与图书馆3个方面展开,一一论证了创设中小学图书馆的必要性。面对中小学图书馆建设中的经费、建筑设备、组织、图书、服务与阅读指导问题,民国学人从现实出发论述了各个问题的解决办法。文章梳理、归纳民国学人论述中的观点、经验、建议,从中发现具有启发性的观点,并阐发对当代中小学图书馆发展的启示及对其建设的思考。 During the Period of the Republic of China(1912 to 1949),school libraries emerged and developed with the modernization of education and the prosperity of librarianship.Many scholars in the Republic of China period noticed and discussed the importance of school libraries and the problems in the practices.There were many voices at that time questioning the need for libraries in primary and secondary schools.In response,scholars demonstrated the necessity of school libraries from three aspects:the relationship between education and libraries,the relationship between primary and secondary schools and libraries,and the relationship between teachers and students and libraries.As for the problems of funding,building and facilities,organization,books,services and reading guidance,the scholars discussed and put forth realistic solutions.Based on their viewpoints,experience,and suggestions,this article concludes that the discussions have some enlightening viewpoints,and can provide enlightenments on development of contemporary school libraries and its construction.
