This study employs bibliometric analysis and utilizes CiteSpace software to conduct a visual analysis of research literature on fitness-for-all in China from 2016 to 2023,collected from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)and included in the core collection of Peking University and CSSCI.The study aims to explore the hotspots and theoretical development trends in the field of fitness-for-all in China during the“13th Five-Year Plan”period. The findings reveal that during this period,China’s fitness-for-all field has witnessed the formation of one large-scale author collaboration team, two medium-sized author collaboration teams, and ten small-sized author collaboration teams.Sports-oriented institutions such as Shanghai Sport College(now Shanghai University of Sport),Beijing Sport University, and Wuhan Sport University are identified as core research forces in the field. The research hotspots focus on the study of the role of fitness-for-all in promoting people’s health, its positive contribution to industrial and economic development, and the construction of a higher-level public service and legal system for fitness-for-all.It is anticipated that future research in the field of fitness-for-all will focus on topics such as“rural revitalization,”“sports power,”“sports law,”and“integration of sports and health,”which will contribute significantly to the high-quality development of fitness-for-all.
