Road and bridge engineering plays a vital role in modern urban construction and regional development.This paper discusses the influencing factors and control strategies of road and bridge engineering cost in different stages,summarizes the basic concepts and cost components of road and bridge engineering,and emphasizes the influence of many factors on the cost at the levels of project scale,design quality,material and equipment selection.Then,the main cost influencing factors in the four stages of decision-making,design,construction and settlement are analyzed,and the key points that need to be concerned in each stage are pointed out.
