“Six Must-adheres”is the worldview and methodology of XI Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.It embodies the dialectical materialism and historical materialism that the Communist Party of China always adheres to in the new era and on the new journey.Accurately understanding and grasping the stance,viewpoints,and methods of“Six Must-adheres”,and integrating and applying them throughout the entire process of teaching and research of ideological and political theory courses in universities,provide new teaching inspirations and explorations for the high-quality development and construction of ideological and political theory courses.Adhering to the supremacy of the people requires the teaching should emphasize the principle of“student-centered”;adhering to self-confidence and self-reliance indicates that strengthen students’beliefs,convictions and confidence should be set as the teaching objectives;adhering to maintaining originality while innovating means teaching materials should be chosen to discard outdated ones;adhering to problem orientation requires teaching design adopts a problem-oriented approach;adhering to a systemic view requires teaching organization follows systemic laws;and adhering to embrace a global perspective requires teaching content should be viewed with a global outlook.
