依托结构化知识建构提升农村校初中生英语词汇复习实效的实践

Practices to Enhance the Effectiveness of English Vocabulary Review for Junior High School Students in Rural Schools through the Use of Structured Knowledge Construction

摘要 农村校初中学生由于英语基础较薄弱,初三复习阶段花费大量时间记忆词汇,但成效甚微。为了改善高耗时、低效率的现象,本文依托结构化知识建构探索提升英语词汇复习实效的教学策略:教师课前要围绕主题选定语篇,明确词汇复习的目标;课中以主题意义为引领,通过读前创设多模态情境激活词汇知识背景、读中搭建多元思维支架和读后创设概述微情境促进词汇运用,帮助学生建构结构化词汇知识;课后以真实的实践性作业为引领,促进主题词汇知识的迁移,巩固词汇结构化复习实效。 Students’English proficiency is relatively low at junior high schools in rural areas due to many reasons.Students often spend much time reviewing and remembering vocabulary when preparing for the graduation test,but cannot gain as expected.In order to promote reviewing effectiveness,this article,based on structural knowledge construction theory,promotes the following approach:selecting texts around themes and deciding on vocabulary reviewing objectives;activating students’prior lexical knowledge via multi-modal contexts,providing various thinking scaffoldings in the process of thematic inquiry and designing summary contexts to facilitate internalization;and guiding students’transfer of structural thematic vocabulary with realistic homework.
