Course Construction of Database System Principles Based on OBE Concept

针对“数据库系统原理”课程教学中存在的知识获取、能力培养、素质教育等痛点问题,以OBE(Outcome Based Education)理念指导课程建设,以学生为中心,以成果为导向,持续改进,采用细分教学目标、创新教学内容、混合教学模式、优化教学设计、丰富教学资源、完善教学评价的“六部曲”创新举措,实现“数据库系统原理”课程与知识获取、能力培养、素质教育紧密联系的“三目标”,全面解决痛点问题,全面提升学生解决问题及实践创新能力。

In view of the problems of knowledge acquisition,ability cultivation,quality education and other pain points in the teaching of Database System Principles,the course team guided the course construction with the concept of OBE(outcomes-based Education),student-centered,results-oriented,and continuous improvement.The team also adopted the six-step innovative measures of “subdividing teaching objectives,innovating teaching content,mixing teaching mode,optimizing teaching design,enriching teaching resources,and improving teaching evaluation” to realize the three objectives of Database System Principles closely related to knowledge acquisition,ability training,and quality education,comprehensively solved the pain points,and comprehensively improved students' problem-solving and practical innovation ability.
