In the construction of medical gas engineering,cost management includes multiple stages,such as design budget,cost prediction during the bidding stage,change control during the construction process,and completion settlement.The paper focuses on the errors and problems that are prone to occur in the cost process of medical gas engineering,and conducts an indepth analysis of this important link related to the cost control and engineering quality of hospital infrastructure construction,aiming to provide relevant practitioners with a set of targeted risk prevention and control strategies and optimization suggestions,in order to improve the economic and social benefits of medical gas engineering projects.The research findings are as fllows:Inaccurate cost estimation during the design phase is due to factors such as improper equipment selection and insufficient consideration of operation and maintenance costs in the design scheme.②Technical parameter omissions and untimely updates of market information that may occur during the bidding process can also cause actual cost deviations from expectations.③During the construction phase,there are difficulties such as material price fluctuations,frequent engineering changes,and unclear pricing for concealed works.①There may be problems such as measurement disputes and unreasonable cost sharing during the completion settlement stage.All of the above may lead to difficulty in effectively controlling project costs,affecting the authenticity and rationality of the final engineering cost.
