Joseph's story is a vital part of the book of Genesis,in which the illustration of ethical and moral ideas as well as the interpretation of dreams reflected the ups and downs of Joseph.The whole story is based on the clues of Joseph's experiences and hardships.It reveals the the influences of Christianity.With the method of Ethical literary criticism,this thesis interprets the ethical emotions in Joseph's story in terms of Joseph's experiences and reflects his ethical identity,ethical choice and ethical consciousness.It also shows Joseph's ethical characteristic and ethical expression.
