Petrochemical process simulation software is one important tool in the new process development,technology reconstruction,design and optimization of petrochemical field,and continues to keep as a critical core with the process requirement of green,intelligence and digitalization.The state and development of petrochemical process simulation software were reviewed.The concept and classification of this software was introduced,followed by analyzing its development history and state,exploring its application in refinery process,chemical engineering and environment process.The future development trend of petrochemical process simulation software was proposed.
