互联网时代,农村老年人社交媒体的正确使用是其有效融入网络的一个具体体现,对他们日常生活的开展具有重要意义,能够有助于提高他们的生活质量,方便他们的日常生活,提升他们的自我效能感。但是农村老年人社交媒体的使用过程并非一帆风顺,存在农村地区网络基础设施不完善、智能手机的代际“传承”影响、自身特征弱化对社交媒体使用的主观需求、适老化的媒体改造尚不成熟、复杂的网络环境加剧使用风险、社交媒体的娱乐化属性极易产生老年网瘾等问题,需引起社会各方面的高度重视并采取积极措施加以应对。

In the era of the Internet,the correct use of social media among rural elderly is a concrete manifestation of their effective integration into the internet,which is of great significance for their daily life.It can help improve their quality of life,facilitate their daily life,and enhance their sense of self-efficacy.However,the process of using social media for rural elderly people is not smooth sailing.There are difficulties such as inadequate network infrastructure in rural areas,the intergenerational"inheritance"impact of smartphones,weakened subjective needs for social media usage due to their own characteristics,immature media transformation that is suitable for aging,complex network environments that exacerbate usage risks,and the entertainment nature of social media that easily leads to the problem of elderly internet addiction.It is necessary to draw high attention from all aspects of society and actively take measures to respond.
