摘要
非正式学习环境为STEM教育提供了独特的机会和资源。作为非正式学习环境的典型代表,美国博物馆以知识共享为使命,通过策划丰富多样的教育活动,为各年龄段学生提供有针对性的STEM教育资源。研究聚焦于美国国家自然历史博物馆、旧金山探索博物馆和西雅图飞行博物馆在STEM教育领域的实践探索,归纳总结了美国博物馆在提供STEM学习资源,与学校STEM教育有效衔接,支持STEM教师专业发展,吸引家庭参与STEM教育,促进STEM教育公平等方面的经验,这些经验为我国发展非正式学习环境中的STEM教育,丰富STEM教育资源提供了良好的借鉴。
Informal learning environments provide unique opportunities and resources for STEM education.As a typical representative of informal learning environments,American museums,with the mission of knowledge sharing,provide targeted STEM education resources for students of all ages by organizing a variety of educational activities.The study focuses on the practical explorations of the National Museum of Natural History,the San Francisco Exploratorium,and the Museum of Flight in Seattle in the field of STEM education.It summarizes the successful experiences of American museums in providing STEM learning resources,effectively connecting with school STEM education,supporting the professional development of STEM teachers,attracting family participation in STEM education,and promoting fairness in STEM education.These experiences provide good references for the development of STEM education in informal learning environments and enriching STEM education resources in China.
